I don’t support these behaviors, but after seeing the complicated aspects of the world, I am worried about oversimplifying judgment.

　　At the meeting, the Academic Committee listened to the closing reports of 15 consulting and research projects of Guangdong Research Institute in 2020, and made closing deliberations on the projects. Through the evaluation, it is of great significance to promote the transformation and application of research results and promote the project research to better serve the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, which will promote the industrial transformation and upgrading and optimize the regional development pattern in Guangdong Province. The meeting also discussed and reviewed the application guidelines for consulting research projects of Guangdong Research Institute in 2023.

　　Greater Bay Area Modern Industry Development Research Institute undertook the project "Research on the Innovation and Development Strategy of Greater Bay Area Garment Industry under the New Situation" (headed by Professor Hu Jun, former president of Jinan University), attended by the representative of Cao Changlin, a member of the research group and executive president of the research institute, and reported the results to more than 20 academicians and dozens of experts attending the online and offline meetings and relevant departments of the provincial government.

　　Xu Dianhui, Deputy Secretary-General of Guangdong Provincial Government, Party Secretary and Director of Provincial Letters and Calls Bureau, said in his speech that the experts of the 2020 consulting and research project team have completed a number of forward-looking, scientific and targeted high-level research results in many fields with a high sense of responsibility and rigorous and realistic scientific spirit, which has important reference value and guiding significance for Guangdong to continuously improve its scientific decision-making level, and hopes to become a prescription for Guangdong’s scientific and technological progress and a driving force for innovation and development. He asked the Guangdong Research Institute, first, to improve its political position, focus on strategic needs, and persistently use the party’s innovative theory to push the strategic consulting research work to a new level. Second, we should seize major opportunities, take Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area’s comprehensive advantages as the traction, promote the coordinated innovation and development of "one core, one belt and one district", and achieve a higher level and higher quality of regional coordinated development. Third, we must persist in scientific and technological innovation, realize self-reliance, actively explore key core technologies to tackle the new national system "Guangdong Path", push Guangdong’s scientific and technological innovation work to the forefront of the country, create experience, and strive to be the vanguard of Guangdong’s high-quality development with extraordinary actions.

　　In his concluding speech, Academician Zhou Ji said that since the establishment of Guangdong Research Institute of China Engineering Science and Technology Development Strategy, it has actively implemented the strategic layout of building a high-end think tank with "indomitable spirit" through cooperation between provinces and institutes. The 15 consulting and research projects of Guangdong Research Institute have achieved good results, and the efforts of the project team members in the project research work have provided good suggestions and ideas for the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the implementation of innovation-driven development strategy in Guangdong Province, and the pursuit of high-quality development. He hopes that the wisdom of academicians and experts of the project team can better serve the practice in Guangdong, promote the project achievements to take root, further boost the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Science and Technology Innovation Center and the high-quality development of Guangdong, and play an important role in promoting Guangdong to be at the forefront of the country and create new glories in the new journey of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way.
