In the first half of the year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology focused on clearing debts in five aspects.
CCTV News:The State Council Press Office held a regular briefing on the State Council policy at 3 pm on July 17th. Wang Jiang, Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology, and the relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Justice introduced the Regulations on the Protection of Payment for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and answered questions from reporters.
Wang Jiangping said that in the first half of this year, government departments and large state-owned enterprises across the country paid off 95.6 billion yuan in arrears to private and small and medium-sized enterprises, including 82.7 billion yuan in undisputed arrears, and the progress of paying off undisputed arrears reached 49.5%. We mainly focused on five aspects:
First, strengthen overall deployment and clarify mission objectives.
The second is to strengthen the briefing, promote the implementation of tasks, schedule and report the progress of clearing debts on a monthly basis, and also hold quarterly departmental consultation meetings and video scheduling meetings in some areas to promptly urge local governments to speed up the implementation of tasks.
The third is to focus on the implementation of key supervision, speed up the progress of liquidation, and compact local responsibilities. In particular, we took the task of paying off the undisputed arrears of less than 5 million yuan as the key task in the first half of this year, and it was paid off before the end of June.
The fourth is to strengthen policy research and improve institutional guarantee. Including today’s "Payment Regulations" can be issued in time.
The fifth is to organize "looking back" and consolidate the results of clearing debts.
