The car will provide 1.5T four-cylinder and 2.0T power for consumers to choose from in the future. The design of the new B9 is from the current exterior design director and legendary designer Marco Pavone.

From the appearance, the new car adopts a new family-style design style. The narrow front grille is connected to the headlight groups on both sides, and the center is equipped with a through-type trim, which makes the front of the car look wider and more atmospheric. The Volkswagen brand LOGO in the center can be lit, and there are through-type light strips on both sides, which greatly enhances the sense of technology. The lower part of the front is equipped with chrome-plated trim and guide groove shape to further enhance the sense of sports.

From the side of the body, the car has a waist line running through the front eyebrows to the taillights, and with the new style of two-color large-size wheels, the overall sporty feeling is full. In terms of the rear, the car adopts through taillights, and the Volkswagen LOGO can also be lit. With the red reflective strip below, the layering of the rear is well enhanced. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4990/1854/1487mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2871mm.

The changes in the interior are even more significant. The new car is equipped with three large screens of full LCD meters, large-size floating central control screen and co-pilot entertainment screen, which is no less than the current new car-making forces in terms of technology. The new car adopts a design, and the lower part of the center console leaves more storage space. In addition, the new car will be greatly upgraded in terms of intelligence, and will be equipped with the newly released intelligent driving solution of DJI. There is an independent air-conditioning control area in the rear row, and the performance of legroom is acceptable.

In terms of power configuration, the new Maiteng offers two options, 1.5T turbocharged direct injection and 2.0T turbocharged direct injection engines, the former with a maximum power of 118kW and the latter with a maximum power of 162kW, providing consumers with more power options.
